Bohutín (''local dialect: Bótin'') is the village and municipality (''obec'') in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 846. Bohutín lies approximately west of Šumperk, north-west of Olomouc. According to legend the name of Bohutín is a reference to statue of pagan god which was allegedly on the Zbová peak (Bohu - God, stín-shadow). A more likely origin of the name comes from Slavic personal name ''Bohuta''.
